Ministry Partner Position Description
To engage the FBC congregation in authentic worship, demonstrating servant leadership and obedient use of our God-given gifts and talents.
Responsibilities
- Attend all scheduled rehearsals, warm-ups, and worship services.
- Should you need to miss a scheduled rehearsal or service, please contact the Technical Director or Music Minister, giving as much advance notice as possible.
- Bring to every rehearsal and worship service a spirit of love, unity, cooperation, and encouragement.
- All sound checks/warm-ups/visuals prep should be concluded 20 minutes prior to a worship service.
- Attend all meetings, workshops, training sessions, etc. scheduled for your area of ministry.
- Skillfully and professionally present well-prepared music as an act of worship.
Qualifications
- A developing and ongoing personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
- A commitment to First Baptist Church, Wasilla, as your home church, including regular attendance.
- A commitment to be a servant leader, and a team player.
- A contagious passion for authentic worship.
- A commitment to skill development for your assigned ministry area.
- A commitment to the pursuit of excellence as it relates to the worship ministry of our church.
- A general ability to read and/or learn music.
- Strong musicianship and communication skills.
- Completion of audition/interview process.
